It’s snowing, but not settling. It’s unreasonably cold considering we haven’t even reached December yet. I’m sat in my bed with two layers of pyjamas, a dressing gown, a hot water bottle and my duvet and I’m still cold. I can see my breath. I think I might actually die this winter.

It hurts so fucking bad. Apparently when you have had chickenpox, the virus lies dormant in your body and can break out in shingles years later. Shingles is basically where the virus attacks nerve bundles. Mine is on the nerve bundle on my 10th rib on the left. I have to take tablets 5 times [...]

I have a very painful patch of lumpy raw skin on my chest. Appeared a few days ago, steadily getting worse. I’m a bit scared to go to the doctor in case it’s something serious. I will go tomorrow anyway though. I think boyfriend will drag me there if I don’t.  

Going back to my parents’ house for a night. Will be good to see the family and get a good meal. It does unfortunately mean I will be sleeping on a mattress in the living room as I no longer have a bedroom there, but you can’t have it all. Will also be nice to [...]
