So I bought a domain (well cheap – £6.00 for two years) and have decided to start a new blog rather than transferring my old one.

We (myself, Andy, Dad and Alex) drove to Fleet Services to get KFC for dinner. We walked in, and the glass doors were closed across the food court and there was a fucking disco going on behind them!

Who the hell has a party in a service station??

Surely, nobody in their right mind thinks to themself “It’s my birthday/graduation/anniversary etc soon, I need a party venue….. I know! I’ll hire out a service station for a night”

People are frigging weird.

I had an absolutely rubbish week followed by the best weekend i’d had in a while.

During the week there was literally nobody free. Everyone was either away or doing coursework. On top of that I had little or no access to the internet due to my laptop needing to be taken for repair. Boredom ensued, and I very nearly went batshit crazy. I managed to clean out my entire room ready for uni and complete Kingdom Hearts 2. At least it was a productive week.

Friday was a good day. Johnny came round and we had a nice afternoon together before an early night. This was because I had a 5am start the next morning – I had to be at work for 6. Bad times. No, actually, I’ll be honest. It wasn’t that bad. I managed to stay up until 2am on Sunday morning without too much difficulty.

Saturday evening we went for a meal with Johnny’s family. It was a good meal. I had breaded mushrooms – best starter ever. I need to work out how to make them.

We then both got texts inviting us to Spoons literally just as we got on the train back to Hook. Johnny was feeling a bit rubbish and neither of us had much money so we initially refused, but once we got back I was feeling restless and really wanted a night out, so after some gentle persuasion we ended up in the car back to the station. As predicted, we had a really good time, and my existance was confirmed by several of Johnny’s friends who had come to question if i were real due to not meeting me for so long.

One of the things that made Saturday night great for me was the feeling of acceptance I got from both Johnny’s family and the group at Spoons. I felt like people genuinely wanted me to be there. It was really nice =]. I was also made happier by the presence of the only two people I know that I fully trust unconditionally. More times like that please =].

Today I am slightly ashamed of myself. Have spent the afternoon sleeping/crying/being ill/wallowing in self pity. I am pathetic.

On a lighter note, I signed out from Farnborough today. This means I am *officially* free from the place. It feels pretty damn good. I still have to go back twixe this week, to help set up the art exhibiton, then to go to said exhibition. I’m happy with that though, I like my art class.

I was meant to be going to a party tonight, but a combination of my terrible mood and the fact that I nearly pass out when I stand up is getting in my way a little. Here’s to another night of nothingness.

So, I’ve finally escaped Farnborough. I absolutely love the fact that I never have to go back there (other than to sign out, but that takes a maximum of about 10 minutes if I do it at a good time). What I don’t love is the fact that this means closure. This is it, it will never *ever* go back to how it was that summer. It’s possible that I will never see or hear from those people again. I’ll be honest, though,  I don’t like them. Not now, they’re so different, and perhaps I am too. I miss who we *were*, back when it was all far more simple.

But anyway, I couldn’t be happier that I don’t have to go back. I also never have to endure any subject other than art =D. I can’t quite shake the nagging guilty feeling that I should be doing something productive… I have to convince myself that I don’t actually have anything I need to do any more. I feel like one of those animals that spend hours trying to escape a cage, then are hesitant to leave it when the door is left open. I’m sure I can get used to it =].

Actually, im hoping it doesn’t last….. I had a job interview yesterday for a summer job – 30 hours a week, which should massively help cover money issues for uni. I find out tomorrow whether or not I have the job. Wish me luck.

I’m off to….. I don’t actually know. Probably read/game/internet/films etc.. Any number of time wasting activities. I wish someone were free today. There arn’t even many people online to talk to. Where are you all?
